Larry Schwarm

Larry Schwarm received his MFA from the University of Kansas. He taught at Emporia State University before joining the Wichita State University faculty as Distinguished Professor of Photography in 2013. His work has appeared in many publications, including the monograph, Larry Schwarm: On Fire, published by Duke University in 2003.

He has an extensive exhibition record and has photographs in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Duke University, Library of Congress, Los Angeles Museum of Art, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Philadelphia Museum of Art, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Wichita Art Museum, WSU’s Ulrich Museum of Art, and many others.
